These morning prayer verses for strength are great reminders that God is there to strengthen us when we feel weak. Praying for trust in God each morning can help remind us that God is in charge and that he knows what he is doing. Trusting in God when things aren’t going the way I had planned is one of the hardest tasks, I find. These morning Bible verses will help you start the day with gratitude and encourage you to remember how God has blessed you too. Gratitude is one of my favourite kinds of prayer, because it reminds me of all the blessings (big and small) that God has placed in my life. ![]() Use them as springboards to spend a moment or two (or more) in deeper prayer. What I really love about Scripture prayers is that I am not just asking God for things that I have come up with on my own I am praying his own words back to him. Intentionally beginning your day with prayer and Scripture can help you to focus your mind on God, to learn to trust him more, and to solidify his reign in your life. All those little habits that we have work together to shape who we are. Spending a few minutes in daily morning prayer, and meditating on Scripture, can help you to focus your mind and your heart on God, before all the responsibilities of the day rush in.Īsk yourself: do you start your day with prayer and Scripture, or with social media and to-do lists? While keeping in touch with friends and family and keeping up with work are both helpful and necessary goals, when you begin your day with worldly concerns instead of with God, you set a pattern for your whole day and your whole outlook on life.
